We have been gathering responses
from this particular online
survey since June 2009.With your
help, we successfully met our
deadline for the inclusion of
this material in our new book, "What’s
Your Diet Type?". The
information collected has been
eye-opening! Distinct patterns
emerged that delineated the
weight management approach of
each of the four dominant
personality color styles.
This research has provided
invaluable material that has
been compiled and distilled to
capture the most immediately
useful insights for
understanding and applying the
personality concepts to weight
loss. In fact, this landmark
study was nominated for the 2009
Association for Psychological
Type Innovations Award.
As intended, authors Heather
Jones, RD, Mary Miscisin, M.S.
and Ed Redard, M.D. teamed up to
write a book based on this
research (as well as case
studies, focus groups and
personal interviews). The
resulting book is "What’s
Your Diet Type?" published
by Hatherleigh Press and
distributed by Random House. It
was released May 19, 2009. For

As you may have experienced
personally, our values, body
image, self esteem, motivation
and other factors can shift and
change throughout our lives,
affecting our weight management
and lifestyle approach. For this
reason we are going to
continue collecting data for
further research and inclusion
in future books, reports and
workshops.
